Greetings all...

Since this was so aptly titled it may be the end for this site but I do have some exciting news. Since the banks in Europe opened this morning I have had very encouraging news regarding my business venture. So much so, that I can promise you there will be a new venture opening up in Winston Salem. This dream operation will be fully capitalized and owned outright along with the shopping center property. Right now it may only seem like a dream to you....

Just imagine the old North Point shopping center being turned into gamer heaven.

A one of a kind specialty toy/collectibles store
A true old fashioned arcade with over 100 of the old pinball machines and video games.
A smoke shop for chess addicts and cigar fans and pipe lovers.
A REAL gaming store
A comic book store
A coffee shoppe
A used book store
A video game store
A computer shop
A dueling station
open cafe style restaurants
A Hobby/RC supply shop
Free Wireless Internet
A massive open tournament area with plenty of tables for gaming.
A Dairy Queen treats shop
A clothing specialty retailer
A costume shop
A authenic D&D style pub [with alcohol for those 21 and up]
A sports card collectible store

All under one roof like a mini mall.......

Other attractions planned are as follows...
Go-cart track
Minature golf
A sports bar
A minature roller coaster
A ferris wheel
A playground for children
A salon and day spa
A jewelry & perfumery store that features stuff like you find at the ren faire.
An art store that features hands on art stuff even kids can do like pottery
A second hand clothier
A music retailer and automotive stereo shop
A 100,000 watt AM sports talk radio station

This is coming in 2010. Yeah I know I am going to have to invest just a little over 10 million but to see the effect on the community will be well worth it. Considering how wonderful this year is going to be financially for me I think its time to spread the fun around. Things should start moving along in late April to early May.

Now for what seems impossible. We are in the process of negotiations with HASBRO/WOTC for the purchase of D&D. When successful D&D headquarters will be located in Winston Salem North Carolina. I made a promise to Gary Gygax to do this and I am going to keep my promise. You can expect to see 3.5 revived and offered as a coke/diet coke option to 4.0 this will help to revive the industry significantly. We also intend to acquire Steve Kenzer's company and assets as well as Steve Jackson's. Times are changing and as a gamer I am quite sick of seeing all of my haunts disappear. So I am going to personally do something about it. So when you see the ads in the Journal you will know who it is that is behind this project.

Right now at this very moment....the only people I have put into place are my CFO, COO,VP of Marketing,VP of Logistics and Transportation. That being said once I have secured the cash flow around the last of Feb I have to fly to China to sign my Chief engineer. Once that is complete I will attend the Daytona 500 sign NASCAR to a 180 Million Dollar contract and then boom! We will begin to acquire property.... I intend to hire roughly 100-120 individuals before it is all said and done. The people who currently own the North Pointe Shopping Center are out of Georgia they are real jerks. The center has been on the decline for at least 20years and they think it is prime time real estate. Cash will talk .... loudly. I have already looked at adding the old nissen wagon works building at the corner of 3rd and Patterson as the home for D&D. People claim I have seen one too many episodes of Pinky and the Brain. This whole project has come about through sheer force of will... My guess is this site will be able to provide me some people that I can use to take over the gaming industry and put it back to the way Gary Gygaxx had intended for it to be. I will be updating this thread as information becomes available. So get your resumes in shape good fellows and yes I will do extremely thorough background checks.

Good news... actually, great news! My businees partner informs me the ink is drying on our new contract. This is wonderful because my other endevours are about to be funded within 60 days. ......Stay Tuned....

Today the banks sent the necessary paperwork so that a wire transfer of considerable magintude can be transferred and still stay within the laws set forth by the Patriot Act. Within 24 hrs the process will begin......[Muh-ha-ha-ha!]

After having ilegally had my money held hostage by Bank of America for nearly 18 weeks our plea to the Federal Courts has forced them to release the funds and they have since been transferred to BB&T. We expect that the Dept. of Homeland Security will make them review our funds before releasing them this process takes 28 Business Days. So guys the log jam has broken and the funds are moving albeit slowly but the cash flow is coming.... My plans are going to be set back about 45 days but after that ....... The gaming community will forever change. All of the naysayers will eat crow and humble pie.

Sounds awesome.  I've noticed there have been no updates for awhile.

I actually live 10 minutes from north point.  And while north point has been going downhill the area up university(towards 52) has boomed over the past 10 years so its not like the entire surrounding area has gone downhill.  NP is just slow because everything moved the other direction, it stills gets a ton of traffic going through it. 

If it was that close I know I would be a regular.
