In CLT area, there's only Games HQ, Hobbytown (WH and some card games only), and PBKW (Parker, Banner, Kent, & Wayne).

It is my understanding that Games HQ  is taking a standing 10 count that they were almost knocked out less than 3 weeks ago is that right?

Hobbytown is the only gaming store in GSO at the moment (AFAIK).  GW stuff, some board games.

Some comic stores too, but no hybrid game/comic stores.

The rumors of GHQ's demise are extremely exaggerated.  Laughin' Tuna

The owner is, shall we say, a bit reactionary...which is bad because he's so reserved about other things (like restocking Arcane Legions  Tuna gets MEAN! ). There was a bit of a tussle with the landlord, but he's planning to relocate soon, so that will hopefully work out for the best.

Apex has All Fun and Games, and there's Game Connection in Knightdale.

Did the Hobbytown in Greensboro close down?
