i am gettin a xbox and i want xboxlive but.......?

ok im buying a xbox 360 and i wan xbox live for halo 2 halo 3 ext and i have a little proplum ok i have a 2story house and i have my games up stairs and my computer downstairs i cant use wireless well i dont think cus i have another computer with wireless connection accrosed from the game room and it is really really slow and it will be slow on xbox proply and what i need to no is can i use a long cable or what do i need to do plz someone help

If you have a fast enough wireless router, you could buy the wireless network adapter for the xbox. And yes you can use a long cable but it would be in the way lol. Or you can buy these things that plug into the wall and carry internet threw the electric lines in your house. I have personaly used these and they work fine, but they are only good for online gaming not network streaming. And i have no idea what there called, if you go to bestbuy, and go to the computer section, and ask for a device that carries internet threw electric lines the person should be able to show you what they are. And they are around $100 for both the electric way and the wireless way. Or you could just simply run a ethernet cable into that game room, like into the adtic or drill holes threw walls but what ever works for you
